Seven for Egypt on Day Two as Farida and Coline cause upsets
After a busy opening day the CIB Black Ball Squash Open settled down a little on Day Two, eight matches on the Glass Court in the top half of the draw where yesterday’s winners came up against the seeded players.
Egyptians were seeded to win seven of the encounters, and that’s how it turned out except that teenager Farida Mohamed produced a stunning upset over sixth seed Joelle King, then France’s Coline Aumard upset Black Ball’s own Salma Hany to deny an Egyptian clean sweep.
