“I’m obviously very proud to get the win in three.
“Yathreb is a very tricky opponent, we’ve played a couple of times recently and she won both of them. I wanted to enjoy my squash and the court today, I love it here. I have all my team here, it always feels very special to play at home and I made the most of it.
“The key was to stay solid, Yathreb can come back at any time, she has amazing hands and we’ve played so many time throughout the juniors. She tried to come back in the third and I knew sometimes I would just have to accept some unbelievable shots from her, but I had to stick to my plan and keep my head solid until the end.”
